How to register

The practice aims to have a list of 7,300 patients. This equates to a personal list size of about 1,700 patients per full-time GP (which approximates to the National average).

We deliberately aim to keep our list size no higher than the National Average,  in our endeavour to offer high quality medical care.

You can register by bringing along your NHS medical card or completing a form available from reception. Changes introduced nationally in April 2008 mean that patients will be registered with “a practice” rather than with a particular GP. You can choose see any GP in the practice when you consult. We will make a note on your records if you prefer to see a particular doctor or nurse.

We request that new patients undertake a health check with a practice nurse.  When you request to register you will be given some forms to complete at home.  Please bring these, your medical card and a urine sample, along to your nurse health check.
