From Wednesday 9th March, the NEW TELEPHONE NUMBER FOR COULBY MEDICAL PRACTICE WILL BE 01642 045830.
The practice have acquired a new telephony system which is due to go live from Wednesday March 9th. The transition will be gradual on this day, expected to commence from around 10am.
Telephone traffic will be filtered between both systems around this time until the old telephone lines are switched off.
The new system offers a much better experience for patients, and for us at the practice. It has new queueing technology (offering patients the option for us to call them back if they do not want to wait in the queue), and allows us to introduce specific menus for specific queries, as well as giving out messages to patients as they flow through the system.
As heard when calling the practice, at the main menu, press
1 for appointments
2 for test results (open after 2pm)
3 for prescription enquiries (open after 10am)
4 for general enquiries
The old number of 01642 746800 will be non-functional once we have moved to the new system. IF you do call it, a voice message will play, reminding you that the number has changed to 01642 045830.
