You can also order by emailing our dedicated email address directly coulby.prescriptions@nhs.net. If you do this, please include your name, date of birth and the name of the item/s that you wish to order. Alternatively, you can attach an image of your repeat prescription list to your email. Please allow up to 3 working days for your prescription to be sent over to your nominated pharmacy.

Online Services such as the NHS App or Patient Access also allow you to order repeat medication.

If you do not have internet access, please tick the items you need on the right-hand section of your previous prescription form and leave your request for a repeat prescription at reception or post it to the surgery. Your prescription will be ready for collection 3 working days later. If you prefer, we can post it back to you, but you will need to provide a stamped, addressed envelope.  You may also wish to contact a local pharmacy of your choice to request your prescription from us on your behalf.

BEWARE of non-NHS repeat prescription services

We are aware that repeat prescription services that are not legitimate NHS services are currently being advertised. Be cautious if an individual offers to pick up your prescription for you at a cost. Anyone signing up to a service like this should be aware that it is not endorsed by, or aligned to any NHS organisation. Patients will be signing up to a private contractual agreement between themselves and the individual providing the service. We would strongly advise any patient thinking of signing up to this service to ensure that they consider whether it complies with data protection act (DPA) and data protection regulations (GDPR) in relation to how their information will be stored and processed.

Any advertisement for a legitimate NHS service offering repeat prescription services will display the NHS logo and the contact details of the organisation(s) providing this.

If you have any questions or concerns about a service that you have seen advertised in your local area, please check with us, please ring 01642 746909, or contact Judith McGuinness (judith.mcguinness@nhs.net)
