As you will have heard in the media, the Government is expanding this year’s flu vaccination programme to include ALL people aged 50 to 64.
If you are 50 to 64 and DO HAVE a health condition which puts you at risk of the flu, we will invite you in the normal fashion from September onwards.
If you are 50 to 64 and DO NOT HAVE a health condition which puts you at risk of the flu, appointments will be offered during November and December and possible later (depending on vaccine supply).
This ensures that the most at-risk people in the population are vaccination first.
The NHS will contact people directly with information about when & where to go to get the vaccine.
