The following are the main clinics which we offer.

If you are on our practice register for any of the following conditions then you will be invited in, generally annually, around your birth month:

Asthma – weblink

Regular check-ups and advice from practice nurses on lifestyle, inhaler techniques and medication.

Diabetes – weblink

Our Specialist Diabetes Nurse is on hand for any advice. She will see you at regular intervals to monitor your progress and discuss your lifestyle, along with up to date recommendations with respect to your treatment

Heart and Vascular Disease Clinic

Annual blood test for all those with Atrial Fibrillation, Heart Failure, Periperhal Vascular Disease and Stroke/TIA. The nurse will discuss up to date medical advice and recommended treatments.

Mental Health

Annual physical check with the practice nurse or health care assistant, followed by a more in depth talk with a GP to discuss how you are doing and discuss your medications.

Rheumatoid Arthritis

Annual talk with the GP to consider how your condition is affecting your lifestyle.

Learning Disability Health Checks

We offer all patients, 14 yrs and over, with Learning Disabilities an Annual Health Check.  This is carried out by one of our Nurse Practitioners.

Antenatal Care

Routine antenatal check-ups by our qualified midwife.

Mother and Baby

For advice and weight checking. Vaccinations for all children up to age 5, and combined appointments with the nurse or doctor.

Family Planning

Advice on contraception including emergency contraception and to discuss coil fittings.

Vaccinations

Routine and travel vaccinations for all ages are available during surgery times by appointment with our nurses.

Please note that many holiday travel vaccinations may incur a private fee as these are non NHS services.

We run a flu jab clinic in September/October and routinely invite patients in who are in ‘high risk’ flu categories.

Pharmacist Advice

If you have concerns about any of your medications, our Practice Pharmacist will be delighted to assist and advise.

Counselling

You can be referred to our practice Counsellor by the doctor. Please discuss this with the doctor.

Physiotherapy

If you have had physiotherapy before for the same condition, or the doctor has recommended physiotherapy, you can book this through reception.
